Coach Bonnie specializes in the most up-to-date science for swimming technique.  She has done research and worked with several technical coaches from the USA and Russia since 1985.  She has trained and coached at the Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale and was an assistant coach at Columbia University while in graduate school.  She also coached for the YWCA-NYC and Asphalt Green.  Currently, she coaches privately at the Jewish Community Center, and is a resident coach for Masters Swimmers on Team NY Aquatics.
She was on the Varsity team at Johns Hopkins University from 1997-2001.  After college she was a nationally ranked open water swimmer earning the honor of “Long Distance All American” in 2003.  She completed a solo crossing of the English Channel in 2005.
A competitive swimmer since the age of six, she grew up in the USA Swimming structure and is so thrilled to be able to give back to the swimming community by coaching.  She focuses on preventing injuries with scientifically proven techniques and efficiency in the water so that swimming can be a lifelong activity.
